The United States Department of Agriculture presented Kentucky River Community Care with a $117,000 grant to advance specialty care to patients living in the area.
These services will be provided at various sites throughout four different counties.

"This provides access in the community to all of our citizens who are unable to travel long distances, who don't have resources, finances or transportation to actually leave the area to get specialty care." says Mike Kadish, Executive Director at Kentucky River Community Care.

Another local organization to receive a grant from the U-S-D-A was Grace Community Health Center, who received $80,000.
