Logan County, WV pharmacist dies on Black Friday

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Services are set for a Logan County pharmacist who collapsed while shopping on Black Friday.

Lynn Vance says her husband, Walter Dale Vance of Chapmanville, died at Thomas Memorial Hospital after being stricken at a Target store in South Charleston early Friday.

Services were set for Monday afternoon at the Mona-Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Wilkinson.

Lynn Vance tells The Charleston Gazette (http://bit.ly/rvbGTE) that her 61-year-old husband had a history of heart problems, had undergone bypass surgery about 10 years ago and had a stent inserted earlier this month.

A South Charleston store manager referred questions to Target's Minneapolis headquarters. A telephone message wasn't immediately returned Monday.
