London, Ky. Even with national chains up and down the street it sits on, people still come to Burger Boy.
"Normally, there's eight or ten gather in here most every morning," said Charles Pennington, a regular customer.
Many of those regular customers enjoy not only the food, but the social life the restaurant has come to provide.
"Drinking coffee, telling tales, and going over what's happening around the community and sort of catching up on the latest gossip," he said.
One long-time server enjoys catering to this crowd.
"They all flock back there and tell jokes, believe each other's stories," said Angela West, who has worked at the restaurant for more than a decade.
The food is cooked by a cook whose real name is Jerry Williams. West and the customers call him Cornbread.
"They're all full of life," he said. "Talk about the old stories, talk about this place, talk about watching London grow."
Pennington also said that everybody likes everyone else who comes into Burger Boy.
