Man accused in Christmas Day shooting surrenders in Logan County

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WYMT/WSAZ) - The man accused of shooting another man on Christmas Day in Logan County is now in jail.

Mack Brumfield surrendered to police Friday afternoon at the Logan County sheriff's department.

Brumfield is accused of shooting Kenny Tomblin five to six times in Henlawson on December 25.

Brumfield has now been charged with malicious wounding and domestic battery.

He was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail on a bond of $50,000.

Tomblin remains in intensive care.
