Man accused of shooting police officer back in Harlan County

HARLAN, Ky. (WYMT) - A Harlan County man involved in a shootout with police is in a Kentucky jail.

Last Friday night, Lynch Police responded to a domestic dispute when they say Michael Blair pointed a gun at the officer.

Blair was shot multiple times by police and flown to a Tennessee hospital.

He faces attempted murder charges and sits in jail on $50,000 cash bond.
