A raid in Johnson County busts an alleged counterfeit ring.

Sheriff's deputies arrested two suspects they say were passing around fake money all over the county.

They took one man into custody who says it is all a surprise to him.

Deputies say they have been investigating Keenan Robinson for a couple weeks for creating and spending counterfeit money.

Police say they are not sure how much money he has spent at this point, but they are aware of several incidents.

They say the bills are pretty convincing, but Robinson says he did not make any fake money and was not aware he was in possession of any.

"They said I had a counterfeit bill, and it was supposed to have happened at Bee Mart so that's all I know. (Did you?) Well she said it was," said Robinson.

Robinson was arrested for first degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Police also seized two computers and a flash drive from the house and say they are still investigating.

They also arrested a woman at his house on a bench warrant out of Pike County. That is an unrelated incident.
