Man arrested for two burglaries in Lynch

LYNCH, Ky (WYMT) - A 17 month long investigation led police to arrest a man they believe was involved in at least two burglaries in Harlan County.

The City of Lynch Police Department and the Harlan County Sheriff's Office arrested Bobby Sizemore Monday afternoon on two arrest warrants.

Police believe he burglarized at least two homes in the Lynch community stealing several items.

"For instance, US Steel used to be big here in the Lynch Community. They basically built Lynch. And some coins and rings and things that could not possibly be replaced," said Harlan County Sheriff Marvin Lipfird.

Police say several of the stolen items have been recovered.
