Man could be released from jail

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - A Vicco man could possibly be released from jail this week.

Johnny “Bud” Williams originally faced 15 years behind bars.

The Hazard Herald reports a jury convicted Johnny "Bud" Williams on a misdemeanor charge earlier this week.

He originally faced felony wanton endangerment charges.

Police say in June of last year, Williams barricaded himself inside his home and threatened to set himself on fire and swung a golf club at sheriff's deputies.
