Man facing assault & DUI charges appears in court

PINEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - A Bell County man accused of causing a fatal wreck appeared in court Friday morning for a hearing.

Christopher David Lawson was just recently indicted on assault and DUI charges.

He is accused of driving under the influence last year when officials say he was involved in a crash that seriously injured Bobby Baker.

Baker died from his injuries this year.

A pre-trial conference was set for January 7th.
