Man injured in Rowan County fire upgraded to fair condition

CLEARFIELD, Ky. (WYMT) - We have an update on a man injured in a fire that killed his son.

We're told that James Pennington has been upgraded to fair condition.

He was listed in critical after the fire last week.

His wife Lottie is still listed in critical condition.

The couple's son Edward died in the fire at the family's home in Rowan County.

Their three daughters were also injured.

Two of them have been released from the hospital.

The third is still recovering.

A fund has been set up for the family at Whitaker Bank.
