LAUREL COUNTY (WYMT) - A man is in custody for allegedly holding his family hostage in Laurel County.
It happened on Highway 472, near the Laurel/Clay County line.
The sheriff's office says the man fired shots during an argument with his wife.
We're told he then took her and their two kids outside, where he fired more shots.
Deputies showed up after he'd brought them back inside and he wouldn't let them go.
We are told he eventually freed everyone and surrendered.
