LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - A Laurel County man is behind bars for allegedly falsely reporting an incident.
Police say Monday night a man called 911 saying he had strangled his girlfriend and she was not breathing; however, police say that call was false.
Officers say they determined Michael Jones allegedly had a disagreement with a family member and made the call.
He is being held at the Laurel County Detention Center.
