HARLAN, Ky. (WYMT) - One Harlan County man pleaded not guilty in an alleged child abuse case.
In April, police told us Randy Hammons beat the child and then stuffed him in a small freezer because the child would not stop crying.
Hammons was first charged with attempted murder however, the Harlan Daily reports a grand jury amended the charge to assault.
Hammons remains in jail on a $50,000 cash bond.
