Man recovers following explosion

One southern Kentucky man is recovering after an explosion.

The Times Tribune reports a Gray Metal Company employee told them Mike Cima was using a torch on a barrel containing acetone.

The acetone then ignited and caused an explosion that the employee says could be heard from up to 500 yards away, Cima was thrown around 15 feet.

He was taken to Baptist Regional Medical Center for treatment and the business was closed for the day.
