Man to spend ten years in jail in Perry County stabbing

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT/Hazard Herald) - A man accused of stabbing his wife will spend ten years in jail.

The Hazard Herald reports 34 year old Kenneth Halcomb of Leatherwood pleaded guilty to second degree assault and tampering with evidence.

Police say he stabbed his wife with a knife several times in March.

He also allegedly tried to hide the knife from officers after the assault.
