A Pikeville man accused of stabbing a friend pleads not guilty to the charges.
21 year old Daniel Gillispie is charged with assault and impersonating a police officer.
Investigators say he claimed to be a police officer to get 21 year old Tommy Bray to open the door, and then stabbed him.
Gillispie's bond remains 30-thousand dollars cash.
Bray is in intensive care in Pikeville.
