Man arrested for allegedly abusing a child

Police arrest a man after they say he abused a toddler.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office took 19-year-old Dustin Crum into custody Monday.

Deputies were called to a home in the Van Lear community after getting a tip.

Once there, investigators say they found a one-year-old child with bruises and injuries over the child's body.

Crum is charged with second degree criminal abuse.
