WYMT Severe Weather Alert

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for all of Southeastern Kentucky until 10pm tonight. The primary threats from this system will be strong winds and large hail. Isolated tornadic activity certainly can't be ruled out of the equation.

Man arrested on theft charges

A southern Kentucky man has been arrested on theft charges.

Somerset Police say an officer saw a man looking into cars and trucks at a construction site on south U.S. 27.

Police say they arrested Ricky Vaughn.

They say Vaughn was opening the compartments on work trucks and trying to steal the items inside the vehicles.
