A man charged in a 1985 cold case in Harlan County was in court Friday.
Ernest Hensley of Corbin was arrested and charged with killing coal operator Harry Miller Maupin of Richmond.
Maupin's body was never found, but police say they learned he was shot and his body moved out of Harlan County.
Police say Maupin and Hensley were business partners at a coal company.
Hensley is in the Harlan County Detention Center on a five million dollar bond.
A hearing is set for September 9th.
