A Letcher County man charged with murder is expected to appear in court for the first time on Wednesday.
32-year old Samuel Collier is accused of murdering Mark Sturgill last Thursday night.
Collier called 911 himself to report that he shot Sturgill in the middle of the street.
Collier will be arraigned on Wednesday.
Police are still looking into what provoked the crime.
