Man donates $15,000 to help storm victims

Joe Foley spent the past 50-years as a southern Kentucky businessman. He says after he saw the death and destruction from Friday's severe weather outbreak, he knew he wanted to help.

"If I could do it, you know, I don't care to do it. And I will do it. I know the economy is not good on anybody. These folks need help," said Foley.

Lisa Whitaker of the American Red Cross accepted the $15,000 donation on Tuesday at a community store for storm victims in East Bernstadt.

Foley owns three mobile home sales locations called Edgewood homes. The tornados missed his businesses. He knows many others were not so fortunate.

Foley hopes his donation will encourage other people and business owners to help storm victims.
