Man is sentenced for drug charges

A Whitley County man convicted of selling drugs is sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison.

A Whitley County man convicted of selling drugs is sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison.

Doyle “Stanboy” Fritts was found guilty on four counts by a jury in federal court last month.

Fritts was accused of selling OxyCodone pills from 2008 to 2011 in Whitley County.

He was also acquitted on a charge of trying to delay or prevent testimony against him.
