Man is sentenced for his role in a drug conspiracy

A Clay County man is sentenced in federal court for his role in a drug conspiracy.

51-year old Johnny Dale Marcum of Manchester will spend 150 months in prison.

Marcum admitted that he and others cooked meth in eastern Kentucky from March, 2009 through June 2010.

Another person, Oba Champlain, was sentenced to 180 months in prison last year for his role in the conspiracy.
