Flooding is a major concern today across Eastern Kentucky as rivers continue to rise after the heavy rain and snow melt of the last few days. Now as the rain has transitioned to sleet and snow roads will become treacherous and ice covered. Flood Warnings and Winter Storm Warnings remain in effect for most of the day. A crash killed a man in Pike County on Wednesday.
It happened on U.S. 460 in the Yellow Hill community.
State Police say Jackie Jones, Jr. crossed the center line of the road and hit a rock cliff.
We're told the 51-year-old died at the scene.
