Man makes fake prescription pads

A Corbin man, who worked for a printing company, is arrested after police say he printed fake prescription pads to support a drug habit.

The Laurel County Sheriff says they arrested twenty three year old Ryan Lannen after he printed fake prescription pads for area doctors and then forged them to get prescriptions for Hydrocodone.

Lannen allegedly told police he had been using ten Hydrocodone pills a day and had used the fake prescription pads to get more than 2,500 pills in the last six months.

Lannen is charged with 42 counts of fraudulently obtaining prescriptions and forgery of prescriptions.
