A Floyd County man charged with murdering a woman five years ago pleads guilty.
Tony Ray Tackett was charged with murder, rape, and unlawful imprisonment for the death of Margaret Hall in March, 2006.
Her body was found weeks later on an abandoned strip mine in Floyd County.
Tackett was arrested eight months later.
Wednesday, Tackett took a deal and pleaded guilty for murder in exchange for dropping the rape and unlawful imprisonment charges.
Tackett will be sentenced in July.
