Man sentenced for stealing ambulance

A Breathitt County man is sentenced after stealing an ambulance.

Shane Hale was arrested in March after he took the ambulance at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital and drove it to Breathitt County before he was finally stopped.

Police said Hale was "highly intoxicated" at the time.

The Hazard Herald reports Hale will serve 5 years in prison.
