A man convicted of manslaughter and DUI will spend 30 years in prison.
Police say last November, Sherman Doug Perry was under the influence of drugs when he crossed the center line and hit a pick-up truck head on in Martin County.
Fred Marcum died at the scene. His passenger, Robin Crum, was seriously injured.
Perry was sentenced to ten years for manslaughter, 20 years for assault, and six months for DUI.
He will serve those consecutively.
