A man will spend nearly three years in prison after admitting he provided prescription drugs to the former Whitley County Sheriff.
35-year-old James Meradith says he gave Lawrence Hodge three OxyCodone pills in exchange for a sheriff's department shotgun.
Hodge is serving 15 years in prison for conspiracies involving drugs, extortion, and money laundering.
