Manchin staffers to launch W.Va. listening blitz

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Call it Manchin's marathon.

Starting one week from Monday, Sen. Joe Manchin's staff will conduct 95 public meetings in one week.

They'll visit every county in West Virginia.

The West Virginia Democrat launched the statewide listening blitz in 2011. The meetings are intended to let his constituents express their views.
