HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - Marshall University is offering
incoming freshmen a leg up this summer by offering free workshops
in English and math.
Marshall says the Summer Bridge Program is designed to give
incoming students the fundamentals they need for college success.
One session will run from June 25 through July 6, while the
second will run from July 23 through Aug. 2. Sessions will be held
Monday through Thursday on the Huntington ad South Charleston
campuses and at the Mid-Ohio Valley Center in Point Pleasant.
The program is open to incoming freshmen who have been admitted
to Marshall for the fall 2012 semester. Students must also have
paid their enrollment deposit.
