WYMT Severe Weather Alert

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for all of Southeastern Kentucky until 10pm tonight. The primary threats from this system will be strong winds and large hail. Isolated tornadic activity certainly can't be ruled out of the equation.

Masked man robs Dollar General store

State police are looking for a masked man who held up a Letcher County business.

Investigators say a man wearing dark clothing and a ski mask walked into the Dollar General store in the Mayking community around nine Monday night and demanded cash.

Police say the suspect is around six feet tall, 180 pounds, and was last seen driving a dark two-door car.
