Zach Davis doesn't just get it done on the court.
"I am a hard working student, I have a five point four GPA, I take five advanced placement classes, and a college class." says Davis, a senior at Knott County Central High School.
He gets it done off the court as well.
"I just push myself to be the best that I can be." Davis adds.
Davis says growing up watching WYMT has inspired him so much that he plans on going to the University of Kentucky so he can pursue a career in sports broadcasting.
"People like Jeff Archer, Derek Forest, and Brian Milam seeing how they can just capture an audience." he says.
Although Davis says he would love to come back to the mountains after college and work at WYMT, he isn't ruling out other possibilities.
"My dream job would probably be to work for ESPN."
And we all know that could definitely happen.
Once again congratulations to all of this years scholarship recipients and thank you for making it another successful year for the W-Y-M-T Whayne Supply Mountain Basketball Classic.
