Meth bill is highly debated

If passed, Senate Bill 50 would require you to have a prescription to buy medicines containing pseudophedrine, which is a common ingredient in making meth.

Advocates of the bill believe it will curb the drug problem.

Those in opposition feel that the bill will burden law-abiding citizens and they have come up with some alternatives of their own.

The senate judiciary committee will hear testimony about the issue again Thursday.
