Police say a Johnson County apartment complex is now safe after two active meth labs were found Tuesday night.
It happened at the Southside Apartment Building.
Sheriff's deputies say one lab was inside an apartment, the other in a car in the parking lot.
Deputies say the suspects tried to run away when officers arrived, but were later caught. Four people are charged, Ryan Selvage, Antonio Farris, Steven Salyers, and Dena Melvin.
"It's our belief they were manufacturing the meth to sell. We believe certain individuals we arrested were using, but we suspect they were processing this for sale as well," said Johnson County Sheriff Dwayne Price.
KSP dismantled the labs and cleaned up the area.
