Mine inspector is charged with posing as a federal law enforcement officer

A federal mine inspector in Pike County is charged with posing as a federal law enforcement officer.

Police say 37-year-old Jason Tyler Skeens told them he was a federal officer early Sunday morning after a crash in Pikeville.

Skeens' arrest citation says he told police several times he was a federal law enforcement officer.

He is now charged with DUI, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, impersonating a peace officer and traffic charges.
