PIKE COUNTY, Ky (WYMT) - Miss Kentucky has left the bluegrass and is heading out west to compete for the title of Miss America.
Jessica Casebolt from Pike County is preparing for the first stage of competition next week, which is the interview portion.
Casebolt is a sophomore at Georgetown College and has plans to attend law school and become an attorney.

The Miss America Competition will air Saturday, January 12th from Las Vegas.
