One Breathitt County couple disappeared earlier this week but they have been found safe and unharmed.

The Breathitt County Sheriff says 42-year-old Bill Isom and his wife 19-year-old Sarah Combs arrived at their home in Breathitt County around 8:30 Thursday night.

Bill Isom's father, Dean, reported the couple missing on Tuesday morning after they left town in the middle of the night without warning.

Family members said it was uncharacteristic of the couple to leave without telling anyone where they were going but they say they are glad to have the two of them back home safely.

The sheriff says the couple traveled to Mount Sterling with friends; which is where they spent the past few days.

Before the couple returned, family members feared something bad had happened.

Family members also said Bill Isom did not have important medicine with him.

But the couple did come back home Thursday night and they are fine.
