A London man is dead after falling from a cliff in Laurel County.

Authorities say, Arthur William Bentley, 46, was found at the base of a cliff in a wooded area outside of East Bernstadt, near his home.

He went missing Wednesday night after a cookout with friends. Members of his family have spent the Labor Day weekend searching for him.

While looking, two of his brothers found him Monday morning about 40-feet down.

"I never thought Wednesday night, would be the last time, I would ever see my brother alive," said Elizabeth Bentley.

It's believed he died instantly. At this time foul play is not suspected. Services for Arthur Bentley are scheduled for later in the week at Bowling Funeral Home in London.
