A Floyd County man missing since Thanksgiving was found safe on Monday evening.
42 year old Brian Keith Prater was last seen last Wednesday night in the McDowell area.
His family says his car was later found in Elkhorn Park in Minnie.
Police searched the McDowell and Minnie areas for days looking for him.
Investigators say Prater contacted state police late this afternoon to report he was fine.
Troopers then found him and say he is okay.
