LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - A judge has agreed to let a mother out of prison.

Rachel Smallwood was locked up two months ago for leaving her baby in a hot car.

A Laurel County Judge granted Rachel Smallwood shock probation Monday morning.

Police arrested Smallwood and her husband, Robert, back in May for leaving their 8-month-old in a car for 20 minutes while they got a haircut.

The judged sentenced the couple in September to one year in prison.

The baby was okay.
