Christmas is in the air and L.K.L.P officials are busy creating some very special gifts.

"It's rewarding not only to myself but the entire staff to see the families benefit from our work." says Lorrie Davidson with L.K.L.P.

The Mountain Harvest food boxes are packed full of ham, potatoes, canned goods and fresh fruit...creating a pretty heavy load.

"Probably about 50 pounds...40 or 50 pounds at least." says Davidson.

In all, thirteen families will receive items donated by the food drive. Omeda Holland is one of the Leslie County recipients.

"I guess when you live by yourself you don't have a lot so it does help." says Holland.

And although she lives alone Holland doesn't plan on spending her Christmas by herself.

"My kids I like for them to come in and my grandkids." she says.

Creating a very merry Christmas.

"Just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, it looks like I'll have a good one for my grandkids and me." adds Holland.

Packed full of good eating. Deliveries will continue on Tuesday in Leslie County and ten more families will receive food boxes.
