Construction will begin Monday, September 10th on two different sections of the Mountain Parkway in Eastern Powell and Western Wolfe counties.

Crews will be paving Slade hill and the area near mile marker 38.

Both sections will be down to one lane in each direction.

“It won't be a lengthy delay, but it will be down to one lane, and there will be some delays that motorists aren't used to when they drive through that area," said H.B. Elkins with Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Drivers need to watch for equipment and workers in both areas.
