Murder case will be assigned another special prosecutor

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - A Perry County murder case will be assigned another special prosecutor.

The Hazard Herald reports Harlan County Commonwealth's Attorney Henry Johnson was assigned to prosecute Timothy Ryan Sizemore, who is accused of murder, after Perry County Commonwealth's Attorney Teresa Reed withdrew from the case.

However, in November, Johnson lost his bid for re-election and will not be able to prosecute the case.

Sizemore is accused of shooting Samuel Louive in Combs back in 2011.
