HAZARD, Ky (WYMT) - Two years have passed since a well known Hazard businessman and his wife were murdered.

Roy and Wanda Campbell were found dead in their home two years ago, but the case remains unsolved.

One family member says she will not give up until she knows who killed her mother.

"We're still searching for justice. We always will be. We will never never give up, never," said Shirley Justen, Wanda Campbell's daughter.

Wanda Campbell was murdered two years ago alongside her husband Roy Campbell. Police found their bodies in their home.

"No one can even imagine. You know when someone says your mother dies and your mother is murdered. It's just two totally different things," said Justen.

In the past two years Shirley Justen says she has done everything in her power to try to find answers including put up a sign along the Hal Rogers Parkway asking for information, but police say they are no closer to finding out who killed Roy and Wanda Campbell than they were two years ago.

"Roy and Wanda Campbell need justice. The families need justice, the families need closure. Whoever done this needs to be brought to justice because they are still out there," said Detective Sandlin with Kentucky State Police.

Police believe that someone in the community knows why the Campbell's were killed, but say they have yet to come forward.

If you have any information, you should call state police in Hazard.
