It happened Wednesday night on old Highway 80 east of London.

Police say 49 year old Hughie Rogers of Manchester was going west when he says an animal ran into the roadway.

That caused him to swerve into the oncoming lane and hit a car head-on that was driven by 33 year old Ashley Smith of Manchester.

Rogers was taken to Saint-Joseph London.

A passenger, 32 year old Joanie Davis of Manchester, was flown to UK Hospital.

Ashley Smith and her two passengers, 33 year old Tim Smith and 12 year old Brandon Smith, all of Manchester, were also flown to UK.
