MOREHEAD, Ky (WKYT) - State police say they found more than $10,000 worth of stolen items at a house on Ridgeway Drive, all of it stolen from neighbors next door and across the street.

One victim says her window was broken and flat panel TV's ripped right off the walls. She says power tools, antiques, Christmas presents, clothes, and other things were taken. She told WKYT that her home was also ransacked during the break-in.

She says the thief was seen carrying things back and forth between her house..and his. Police were called and they arrested Shawn Bear, 21.

Police say most of the things he is accused of stealing were found inside his home. The victim says what is really sad about the crime is that she once considered Bear a very close friend...now she's not sure if she will ever see everything he is accused of taking from her.

Bear is in the Rowan County Detention Center charged with theft, criminal mischief and drug related charges. He said he did not wish to speak to reporters about his charges.
