FLEMING NEON, Ky (WYMT) - Police are still searching for the person who robbed a convenience store in Letcher County Wednesday night.

Fleming Neon Police say a man in dark clothing and a hood came into the Double Kwik after 9:30 p.m.

Police say the man also had his face covered and had what looked like a butcher knife.

Once he was inside, they say he turned off all the lights and walked to the counter.

"The clerk advised the suspect tried to disguise his voice and said to put all the money inside the bag," said Captain Tim Miller with The Fleming Neon Police Department.

Police say it lasted less than one minute.

They believe the suspect headed back towards the Neon area on foot.

If you have information, you should call police.
