PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - A new business is coming to Floyd County.
City officials say Hibbett Sports is preparing to open a new store in Prestonsburg.
The store will be located in an empty space between Wal-Mart and Save-A-Lot.
City officials say they are not sure when the store will open, but the company has already started working on the space to get it ready.
"It's really needed in this area because a lot of times stuff you can't find you have to travel out of the area to get it, so it's exciting to have a new business like that come into town," said Prestonsburg Mayor Jerry Fannin.
Hibbett Sports also has stores in Pike and Lawrence Counties.
