New court date set in Knox County murder case

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - A Knox County couple will be back in court later this month accused of murder.

Jessie Janyes and his wife Angela pleaded not guilty Thursday in Knox District Court.

Police say they shot and killed James Cox late last year.

Jessie Janyes told us from jail that it was all in self defense.

Their bonds are set at 100 thousand dollars.
